DNC Special Report on radio tonight

Talk radio with backbone, my specialty on Sunday evenings at 710 KNUS in Denver, and streaming at 710knus.com, moves into weeknights for the Democratic National Convention week, Aug. 25-28. John Andrews and regular mic partners Matt Dunn, Kathleen LeCrone, Joshua Sharf, and Karen Kataline will do an hour of DNC discussion and analysis as each day winds up, Monday through Thursday at 7pm.

Please join us, and get into the conversation by calling 303 696 1971 or by emailing your questions and comments to BackboneRadio@aol.com.

Here are my NPR gig, that Ambrose piece on Americans' generosity, and that group that will report live online from inside DNC protests. John Andrews on NPR "Weekend Edition," Saturday 8/23.

Jay Ambrose article on DCExaminer.com, refuting Obama and citing the research of Arthur Brooks at Syracuse to refute Obama's slur about "selfish America."

Listen to 'Battle of Ideas'

Here's the podcast of John Andrews' radio special, "Under the Dome: Battle of Ideas," as heard July 31 and again Aug. 7 on 710 KNUS in Denver. Expanding on the much-discussed Weekly Standard cover story, "The Democrats' Plan for Turning Red States Blue," the one-hour special featured Jon Caldara of the Independence Institute, Brad Jones of Face the State.com, and Joshua Sharf of View from a Height and Backbone Radio. Under the Dome: Legislative Races

My legislative campaign preview for Republicans with four months to go, aired July 10 at 7pm on 710 KNUS. Key races in the Colorado Senate and House as highlighted in the taped special are listed below with candidate contact information. My guests on the special were Sen. Andy McElhany and Rep. David Balmer, who are quarterbacking the effort to retake GOP control or at least narrow the Democrats’ advantage (20-15 in the Senate, 40-25 in the House).
