Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 2:1-12. Verse 12, what thoughts and actions is the Psalmist expecting from me today when he commands, “Kiss the Son”?
Hosea 12:1-14. Verses 2 and 6, today shall I enter into controversy with God, or humbly turn to him and wait upon him?
Romans 9:1-13. Verse 3, who have I been wanting to share Christ with lately? What shall I do about it today?
Matthew 5:27-37. Verses 29 and 30, if I decided to use this coming time of Lent for a tough spiritual housecleaning, really taking out the trash, what aspect of my self would I work on first?
