Bible Tuesday 12/31: Sheep Here, Goats There

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 150:1-6. Why does God want us to praise him with music? How can I do better at this?

Isaiah 66:1-24. Verse 13, what mothering qualities shall I hope to have God the Father express today for me or for someone in need?

Revelation 22:1-21. Verses 18 and 19, sacred completeness of the Holy Scriptures, not to be tampered with. How can I center myself on God’s word in the Bible more fully this coming year than I did last year?

Matthew 25:31-46. Specifically, who are “the least of these” in my own community that I can touch very soon with active, tangible caring as if they were the Lord Jesus himself?
