Bible Friday 1/24: Amazing Love

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 66:1-20. Verse 16, what has God done for my soul? Who needs to hear about it from me today?

Genesis 24:1-67. Abraham’s servant finds a wife for Isaac. When has God guided me out of uncertainty to just the right outcome for his glory? Application to present needs?

Hebrews 9:23-28. What benefit is graciously mine today as a result of Jesus’ self-offering for the sins of the world?

Matthew 10:16-31. Verse 30, assured by Jesus that the Father has numbered even the hairs on my head, what difficulty that I’ve been keeping from him shall I entrustto God in prayer today?
