How long?

How long must America endure the depredations by radical Muslims with no response, lest we “offend” them? As the facts come in, it is clear that the Ft Hood shooting was a Jihadist attack. Boyd in North Carolina, the incident in Massachusetts, the shooting in Michigan, and others, all related to Islam and Jihad! Yet the Lame-stream media continues to whitewash Islam and tries to assert Islam had “nothing to do with these incidents!” Ridiculous! The American people have more common sense than that!

Here are the facts that it’s time for America to face, after 8 years of floundering:

1. It isn’t a “war on terror”: it is a war against Islamic Jihad! The facts on the ground support this threat analysis.

2. The Muslim Brotherhood, and its myriad of front organizations have a comprehensive long term plan to take our country down: it is a plan that is known. It’s time to deal with it.

3. The steps to defend our country and our civilization need to be taken:

a. Shut down the Muslim Brotherhood organizations

b. Shut down the Mosques and deport the Imams who preach “Death to America”

c. Stop Muslim Immigration whose only purpose is to conduct “civilizational Jihad” and destroy our society

d. Deport the Jihadist fighters who have come here under the guise of “refugees from violence”.

e. Work for energy independence to mitigate the petro-billions being sent to hostile regimes that fund Jihad.

Geert Wilders marginalized at CPAC

Geert Wilders, the Dutch parliamentarian who faces trial for criticizing Islam and was banned from Britain, was at least allowed into the US for a speech in Washington last month. But the stepchild treatment he received at the Conservative Political Action Conference, and the shrill counter-propaganda distributed that day by Muslim groups, dramatize the creeping cowardice that may eventually leave America as intimidated as Europe and the UK in the face of soft jihad. Mr. Wilders was hosted separately from CPAC by David Horowitz and a few other outside sponsors. He spoke at 6PM on Saturday, Feb. 28, in the Blue Room at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, on the far opposite side of the hotel from the rest of the conference . I suspect that the American Conservative Union, conference host and supposedly the bastion of liberty, was fearful of “offending” the Muslims present.

We lined up for the talk. The doors were closed and two policemen were standing with metal detector wands.

While we were waiting, a pamphlet was distributed to those of us waiting in line. I have included a scan of it below at the following link, with a couple of photos from the occasion.

Let me address the accusations in that pamphlet: The first point blames the Dutch government for

o “redlining Muslim populations into poverty” o “Muslims held hostage to living in Ghettos o “children receiving little educational resources” o “making 43% less wage.

But let us see what Ayaan Hersi Ali says about this:

“I was beginning to see that Muslims in Holland were being allowed to form their own pillar in Dutch society, with their own schools and their own way of life, just like the Catholics or Jews. They were being left politely alone to live in their own world. The idea was that immigrants needed self-respect, which would come from a strong sense of membership in a community. They should be permitted to set up Quranic schools on Dutch soil. There should be government subsidies for Muslim community groups. To force Muslims to adapt to Dutch values was thought to conflict with those values; people ought to be free to believe and behave as they wish.” ( “Infidel”, Ayaan Hersi Ali, Free Press, New York, NY 10020 page 245)

Thus, the “redlining” was the Muslims choosing on their own to live in their own communities. The schools the Muslims set up themselves were Quranic. Memorizing Suras of the Qur’an and learning Jihad aren’t exactly subjects that lead to gainful employment. Yet they blame the Dutch for no earning power!

The second point in that 2/28 leaflet blames the Dutch for:

o not integrating Muslim youth into their society o For leaving the youth to become gang members o For the their violence o For their unemployment

But what does Ayaan Hersi Ali say about this:

“Children weren’t encouraged to ask questions, and their creativity was not stimulated. They were taught to keep their distance from unbelievers and to obey” (Ibid, page 246).

The leaflet's next point makes the following accusations:

o Mr. Wilders’ translations of the Qur’an are wrong because he doesn’t speak Arabic o That they are “taken out of context”.

Islamic doctrine holds that the Qur’an is Universal. Therefore, are the Muslims for America saying it can only be read in Arabic? Only a small portion of the world’s Muslims read and write Arabic. The Qur’an is translated effectively into many languages.

As for the Quranic quotes in “Fitna” being out of context, Robert Spencer had a Qur’an Commentary at the meeting!. He looked up the passage referring to “strike the unbeliever in the neck”. The context was “usually causing death”.

The Muslims for America went on to assert they were “moderate” and challenged Mr. Wilders to a debate.

But they are saying the same things that CAIR and the rest of the Muslim Brotherhood front organization say: that the Muslims are “victims” and are taking no responsibility for their situation, blaming everyone in sight except themselves.. In my opinion, this sounds like the same deceptive “cultural Jihad” we see everywhere else. Nothing seems“moderate” here!

The conclusion is stark: it seems we had Dhimmis (defined as a non-Muslim semi-slave that has submitted to Islam: who is ignorant of Islam and afraid of “offending” Muslims) running CPAC 2009. Except for William Bennett noting that the assault of Islam on our Civilization has to be faced and discussed, not a single speaker or panel even mentioned the most serious issue we face in the world today.

My suspicion is that the smiling and hand shaking “Muslims for America” could be infiltrating Jihadists who do not have our long term interest at heart. Are they tied to the Muslim Brotherhood and funded by the Saudis like the rest?

Islam divides the world into two halves: the “Dar Al Islam”, and the “Dar Al Harb”. Pius Muslims would NEVER ally themselves with the “Kaffirs” to strengthen a “Kaffir” government devised by unbelievers. Their sacred obligation is to impose on all humanity The Shari’a, which comes straight from Allah himself.

Why the stimulus won't work

The reason the so-called stimulus bill will not achieve the goals set for it is twofold: Ideology plus the Democrats' lack of understanding of how the economy works. Democrats do not seem to grasp the concept of the “money multiplier effect”. It’s important what you spend money on, not just the spending in itself. Spending needs to actually increase the size of the economy, and not merely be a transfer money from one sector to another.

** To “soak the rich” in the name of “fairness” shrinks the economy. Every $100 the government takes in taxes, only $65 ever makes it back into the economy, the rest is absorbed in bureaucracy. Punitive tax rates also discourage business (and jobs) formation, making the viability of proposed projects harder to achieve. That is why government to an economy is like mistletoe to an oak tree: it burdens the tree and leaches out its vitality. Yet the “economics challenged” Democrat public sector types will raise taxes to “get the corporations who have millions” and mumble “Justice! ” with great satisfaction.

** Vast portions of the spending have been earmarked for things like “bailing out the States”, (keeping the mistletoe healthy but not the tree) extending Medicare benefits (40% of which is absorbed in paperwork and HIPPA Compliance reporting requirements), more unemployment benefits, repairing Federal office buildings or constructing parks and public recreation centers. Infrastructure spending is beneficial, but it will take years. It addresses years of neglect and deterioration rather than adding to our capital stock. In all these cases once the money is spent the economic activity peters out. The ultimate result is filled medical waste bins behind hospitals, more housing project sewage, cleaned up Federal office buildings, fewer potholes, and empty new parks and recreation centers. None of this spending results in sustained increased economic activity! English major Democrat activists fail to understand or grasp this. They think any spending will do.

** The Government spending multiplier effect is typically less than one: $100 taken in taxes goes to $65 in spending which quickly peters out once the contractors finish their government projects. And another aspect: sometimes it takes government contractors months to get their money: (the layer of bureaucracy that “safeguards” the public purse must be satisfied). The “stimulus” then languishes in slow pay Accounts Receivable, pushing some contractors into bankruptcy.

** Real stimulus is in starting businesses. When a business starts, it generates jobs and demand for goods and services. The spending ripples through the economy sometimes at a ratio better than ten to one! Every dollar spent on a business results in ten dollars of economic activity in the economy. But this would entail “tax breaks for the rich”, ideologically unacceptable to the Marxist Progressives who now run the country. They cannot tolerate money NOT funneling though their hands and the power that goes with it. Yet with no understanding of the “multiplier effect”, they will continue pour resources into projects that will increase the size of government (the leaching mistletoe) and shrink the economy. Democrats are setting the stage to break the Japanese record for “stagflation “and misery. They will blame everything and everyone but themselves.

Quietly rewriting the Declaration

Why do progressives work so diligently to weed Christianity out of the body politic? They wish to rewrite the Declaration of Independence as follows: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal (and must remain so), that they are endowed by the State with certain conditional Rights, that among these are Life, (provided it is of sufficient “quality”), Liberty, (if proper behavior and attitudes are maintained), and the pursuit of the Collective Good.”

Let us consider these items one at a time.

1. Undermining our society’s Christian foundations

Eliminate home schooling and force everyone to place their children in the hands of NEA propagandists to be indoctrinated with progressive biases.

Next, define religious schools as child abuse as pretext to shut them down and give the progressives a total monopoly over the minds of our children.

Pull down visible religious symbols, and prohibit any religious activity in school.

2. Instituting the culture of death

“Progressive” social democracy constitutes the culture of death: abortion, euthanasia, “mercy” killing. The camel’s nose under the tent flap begins with the notion of “terminally ill” patients. But soon it expands to the “terminally inconvenient." Elitists then decide if your “quality of life is sufficient” to allow you to live.

If the progressive purpose provides “security to all citizens”, the State then claims the right to enforce things in your life that benefit the State. “You must wear a motorcycle helmet! If you bang your head, and become a vegetable, it will cost too much to care for you!” True enough. But what about the next step? “Living too long is ‘unfair’ because you consume more than your “fair share” of welfare resources!”

“Upon receipt of this letter, you are hereby notified that upon reaching your 72nd birthday, your retirement and Social Security benefits are terminated. You will vacate your government apartment, surrender your accounts and possessions to proper authorities, and report to the euthanasia center by no later than 10:00 PM on January 16th.”

Another outrage: the progressive obsession with casualties in Iraq, used to undermine the war effort. 4000 brave men and women lost in the fight against a world-wide barbarous Islamic tyranny over the last 5 years. Regrettable, but what about the 3700 lives snuffed PER DAY by abortion? Or what about the 42,000 a year killed in automobile accidents?

3. Hypocrisy in action

Abortion, by far, is the biggest killer of Americans, with the total of over 1.2 million deaths per year! In 1973 we discovered we were expecting our son Glenn. The nurse casually asked my wife “do you want to keep it”? I remember the cold chill and horror I felt at the time. (My cherished son an “it”!) Yet tens of millions of Americans my son’s age have been murdered by their parents before they had a chance for life. If the progressives really cared about life, they would be on the other side of this issue.

Theologically we’re in trouble: King Manasseh of ancient Judah (697 to 642 BC) “..did what was evil in the sight of the Lord” (2Chr 33:2). His greatest sin was “he burned his sons as an offering in the valley of the son of Hinnom” (2 Chr 33:6). King Manasseh revived the ancient Canaanite practice of sacrificing children to Moloch. How many children were burnt alive in the 55 years that King Manasseh reigned? Tens of thousands? Even the piety of his grandson, King Josiah, was not enough to redeem the Jewish society from the punishing destruction of 586 BC.

Yet WE have “sacrificed” tens of MILLIONS to our false gods of selfishness and convenience! If people are an asset, how much richer and stronger our society would be today if the 50 million young people my son’s age were alive today! If people are an asset, why are we thus destroying the very future of the society?

Progressives strive to make children unfashionable. The very class of people most able to raise fine children are the very ones killing them! “Progressive” society prefers to subsidize generation after generation of welfare dependent single mothers who spawn illegitimate children for income!

We believe our God is a loving God. But He is also a just God. Can we really think we will NOT be held accountable for this unquestioned sin of abortion?

I saw a bumper sticker stating “A voice for choice: every child a wanted child!” I gagged! Why not this? “A voice for choice: Every Citizen a wanted Citizen /s/Adolph Hitler!” The roots of Margaret Sanger’s Planned Parenthood go deep into Nazi Eugenics that any genuine liberal would abhor!

4. Finally, “liberty and the pursuit of happiness”

See how progressives handle these in areas they already control: on campus! speech codes, political correctness, intolerance of diverse points of view. The party line in spades! Imagine society completely controlled by progressives: Look what’s happening in Canada as we speak.

If our society wishes to preserve the liberties it now takes for granted, it must remember and heed the words of one of the founding Fathers, Patrick Henry: “Bad men cannot make good citizens. It is when a people forget God that tyrants forge their chains. A vitiated state of morals, a corrupted public conscience, is incompatible with freedom. No free government, or the blessings of liberty, can be preserved to any people but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, and virtue; and by a frequent recurrence to fundamental principles.”

Into the wilderness?

The Republican Party is going into exile and the wilderness as the Children of Israel did after the destruction of the Temple in 586 BC. They had broken their covenant with the Lord and were punished. The GOP also has forsaken its principles and succumbed to media pressure to enact big spending programs, alienating its base and its reason to exist. Whether or not the Republicans ever come back, or disappear as did the Whigs, is not clear. It will take more than tired exhortations to conjure up the long-dead Ronald Reagan. The last time I went to a GOP breakfast, I talked about the necessity of an online presence. I told of the online communities and bloggers our opponents have. I told about how Republican candidates were being trashed on the Internet with the "assassination by search engine" technique. All I got from the elderly party leaders was glazed eyes. They moved on to speaking of "getting the next mailing out" and the necessity of "working the precincts and hanging brochures on doorknobs".

Thus, the GOP is hopelessly out of date and being left in the dust, at least at the local level. And is not "all politics local"?

I'm not sure what mechanism remains to regenerate the situation. One wakeup call might be Wahhabist Islam finally showing its face in its vicious way. Or as the progressives hammer into place more and more European social democratic welfare dependencies, the toll on the economy will begin to manifest itself. But it may take more time than anyone foresees.

Was Keynes right, "In the long run, we're all dead"? Or was Moses, in his confidence that eventually the Jordan would be crossed, even if he didn't live to see it?
